Tree of Life, Hawaii, 2021

I took this photo at a Botanical Garden in Hawaii. There was a small pool of water that stood in front of an incredible view of the ocean. My friend Walter was walking around the the rim of the pool, and I took this photo with my Olympus Superzoom 70 right as he walked in front of the sun, creating a beautiful eclipse and illuminating his silhouette, which pales in comparison to the palm trees ahead of him. I like how he stands out as the odd one out in the family of trees.
