Number 83 Porch, Granada, 2022
A single chair occupies the tiny porch of a cave house in Granada, which was built more than 400 years ago. The owner of the house, Lucía, explained to me that the front of the house was constructed to obscure the glaring Spanish sun from the small porch for as many hours of the day as possible, hence the striking tapered shadows that reflect on the white and pink walls.
